Step 3: Choose your rate ($35 - $95)

Once you've had your free consultation, you will be invited to select your rate. Rates are on a sliding scale from $35 to $95. Please select the rate that makes sense for your current budget.

It's time to book your first full session! Your session price will automatically be whatever you chose as your rate.

What sort of issues can I address with an intern therapist?

You will be able to address most issues with your intern therapist. They are able to work with issues like anxiety disorders, depression, social anxiety, self-esteem, neurodivergence issues (autism, ADD/ADHD), and more.

However, our intern therapists are not able to take on cases of severe trauma that has not been processed and addressed with previous therapy. They also are unable to work with eating disorders or severe psychiatric disorders. For these issues, we'd invite you to book a session with one of our senior therapists.

Are intern students qualified to provide therapy?

100% yes! All of our students are registered with the CRPO as Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying). These students are gaining the hours required to graduate from their Master's program. All students are supervised by a Registered Psychotherapist who has been practicing for a minimum of 5+ years.

Can I continue with my therapist after their internship is done?

Absolutely. Our students are invited to stay with Kaizen Therapy after they complete their internship. If the students leave Kaizen Therapy, they will provide you with their contact information so you can continue seeing them elsewhere. However, please note, their rates may increase after their internship regardless of where they work.
