About Alice Edwards
Have you been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward? Maybe anxiety, self-doubt, identity concerns, or past experiences have been making it harder to feel like yourself. Taking the first step toward therapy can be difficult, and reaching out is already a meaningful act of courage.
I support individuals who are looking for a safe, collaborative space where they can feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. As an LGBTQ+ therapist who is neurodiverse, I understand how important it is to feel seen and respected in therapy. My goal is to work alongside you to better understand your experiences, build practical strategies, and create lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach is warm, genuine, and person-centered, while also being willing to gently challenge unhelpful patterns when helpful. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT-informed strategies, and emotion-focused work, tailoring therapy to your unique needs and goals. With my background as a music therapist, I also recognize that creative approaches to healing and self-discovery can be powerful when words alone are not enough. Together, we can create a path toward greater confidence, resilience, and well-being.
