About Rachel
Hello, my name is Rachel. Are you looking to explore therapy in a unique and creative way? My therapeutic approach stands out through my background in art and animation and my formal training in psychotherapy. My philosophy of healing is viewed through the lens of creativity and movement. I firmly believe in the inherent potential of every person to actualize themselves, recreate themselves, and get back into movement when facing adversity. Backed by a sensitive, humanistic, and constructivist approach, I meet you where you are currently in a non-judgmental and unconditionally positive space, where your reality is understood as a series of life transitions that call you to redefine and recreate yourself constantly.
I favor creative therapeutic approaches such as expressive art therapy, narrative therapy, videotherapy, and self-expression through Gestalt-inspired role-playing. I also use the Person-Centered approach and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to explore who you are and your cognitive patterns. I work also with Motivational Interviewing and solution-focused therapy to initiate movement and change in your life.
Being a member of the artistic and neurodivergent community, I am open to working with individuals who need support to stabilize bipolar disorder, ADHD, or neurodivergence, and/or who are looking for specialized artistic support (hypersensitivity, identity search, creative burnout). I am also available to work with clients who wish to integrate their spirituality as part of faith-based therapy.
Thus, whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or mood disorders, I invite you to take back control of your personal narrative through a process of co-creation in congruence with who you truly are, beyond the symptoms of your current condition.
